A Solid Step in Great River Creative’s Aspiration to Be a Player in in the Global Solutions Provider Industry and Community Development with GSD’s Leading Group of Technology Providers; GSD Further Strengthens Ability to Serve Clients’ Solutions Needs in Growing and Emerging Markets; Companies Agree to Form Strategic Economic Development Partnership
CHICAGO, 2 JANUARY 2019 – Great River Creative, LLC (GRC) and GSD Innovations, LLC (GSD) today announced a broad strategic partnership that enhances GRC’s position in the business development industry, while significantly expanding GSD’s reach into the US and other key, high-growth markets. The new partnership is expected to spark innovation and additional R&D in the renewable energy, solution provider and rural development markets by maximizing the project development talents and resources at both companies, while driving scale and efficiency in the partners' respective business models.
The partnership is a strong strategic fit, leveraging the two leading companies’ respective strengths, across three main areas:
First, GRC and EMC have formed a technology development program that will accelerate and extend GRC’s capabilities in the business development segment. These services will be brought to market by GRC and embedded into selected GSD projects over time.
Second, the companies have forged a relationship in which GRC will provide GSD’s industry-leading renewable energy solutions to its customers, initially in the US and expanding into other global markets in step with the ongoing development of its business.
Finally, GSD and GRC plan to bring certain assets and resources from GSD’s global business into a new joint venture which will provide economic development, environment, renewable energy and waste management solutions to small/medium communities (SMB) and rural sites in North America.
